Back to the Stage!

I’m so excited to say that I will be in Music On Stage’s production of Newsies this September!

Newsies is my favorite movie of all time (no really I’ve watched it over 100 times in my life), and since I was little I’ve always wanted to play a newsie.

And I am! I am a part of the Newsie Ensemble and I am also a swing for Albert, Henry, and Romeo.

Come see us September 16th - October 1st.

Double Dose of Exciting News!

Ok. Part 1 of great news!

I booked a part in a student film that is filming this weekend. And it’s a script that I love. I absolutely love working with students. They’re talented and it’s super exciting for me to watch them figure things out. I also love the idea of being at the start of their journey.

So I’m filming with them on Saturday!

Part 2!

I just accepted an internship with O’Connor Casting Company!

I’ve always been so hungry to learn about every facet of this industry. The more informed I feel the more confident I feel when it comes to doing my job. I’ve also always wanted to be the person on set who understands and appreciates everyone’s jobs.

So I am so beyond excited to not only learn, but also I’m excited to lend a hand in the industry. A way to pay my dues I guess?

More updates to come!

Update: New Projects, New Location, New Media

Hello All!!

Wow. Who new this COVID bullsh*t would’ve lasted this long?

I just wanted to give you a quick rundown of what’s happening in my life and career!

First of all, last we spoke I had to notify you of The Tin Woman being postponed indefinitely. :( I’ve recently received news that the show will start rehearsals again next spring! So stay tuned for ticket information… six months from now. lol

Next up on the list of updates. I recently wrapped filming a student film with Flashpoint Chicago. For a student film it was so incredibly professional! I should be receiving the footage in a few weeks and boy am I excited to add it to my reel!

I have also clenched a spot in The Forge Chicago’s Mini Demo Reel camp. Which will be great because then I will finally have enough quality footage to put together an actual Demo Reel! I’ve been so desperate for one.

Lastly, some life updates. I’ve finally made the move into the city AND I’m engaged!

I know there are horrible things going on in the world right now. But it’s nice to have some personal wins to be excited about. Makes life feel a little less hopeless.

Thanks for taking the time to stay updated on my career and stay tuned for great new footage!

Donate to Chicago Artists Relief Fund

I think we all agree that this COVID-19 situation really sucks. Obviously people getting sick and dying is the worst part of it all. But the fact that we’re not able to audition, practice, perform, or experience most forms of art right now SUCKS.

But it sucks even worse for the artists who are now out of jobs. The Chicago Artists Relief Fund is helping said artists find some relief in these weird times we’re in. And if you are open to helping some others in need right now this is definitely a charity worth looking at.

The Tin Woman Postponed Indefinitely

Hello all! I have some sad news. Due to the current situation surrounding COVID-19 the production of The Tin Women in which I’ve been cast as Sammy has been postponed indefinitely.

Obviously this was the right choice for everyone involved, but it is a hard pill to swallow. This cast has been brilliant so far and I was truly looking forward to this performance.

There is a chance that the performance will be rescheduled for this summer. So check back for details on if and when that will happen.

(and pray it does because I was so looking forward to this show!)
